Spacex General Director Elon Musk says he will never attract the plug to the Starlink approach of Ukraine, although he asks the country to negotiate the end of the war with Russia.
“To be extremely clear, no matter how much I disagree with Ukraine’s politics, Starlink will never turn its terminals,” Tweet Musk on Sunday. “We would never do such a thing or use it as a shopping chip.”
However, that post came a day after Musk Tweetoi: “My starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. The whole front line will collapse if I turned it off.”
Musk wrote that after someone asked why Spacex’s CEO looked “focused solely on Ukraine’s criticism, but not Putin for some reason.” Musk replied, “I literally objected Putin in one-to-one physical fighting over Ukraine. “(Challenging people to fights that never happens is a trend with moss.)
“What I am sick of the slaughter years in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose,” Musk added. “Anyone who really cares really thinks, And it really realizes that you want the meat mill to stop. “

Tweets is likely to do little to calm down concerns from European governments that are supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia. On Sunday, Musk also insults a Polish minister who said his country is spending $ 50 million a year to help fund entering Starlink in Ukraine.
“If Spacex proves to be an unreliable provider, we will be forced to seek other suppliers,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, posted on X/Twitter.
“Be quiet, little man,” Musk said in response. “You pay a small portion of the cost. And there is no replacement for Starlink. “
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio then tweed in Sikorski: “No one has made any threat to Ukraine’s cutting from Starlink. And say thank you because without Starlink Ukraine would have lost this fight long ago and the Russians would have been on the border with Poland now.”

The exchanges seem to have made Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk respond. Although his tweet was not addressed in particular, he wrote: “True leadership means respect for partners and allies. Even for smaller and weaker ones. Never arrogance. Dear friends, think about it. ”
Following a tense meeting of the Oval office with Ukraine President Zelensky, the Trump administration has withdrawn military aid and banned the division of intelligence with Ukraine. Musk, a great Trump ally, was appointed Head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) shortly after inauguration.
As such, EU leaders have sought an alternative to Starlink – in Ukraine and Europe. Satellite communication provider Eutelsat OneWeb is trying to become an adequate replacement for Starlink in Ukraine. But it has only about 600 satellites in orbit compared to Starlink, raising suspicions that it can provide sufficient capacity or high speed connection to Ukraine, which can use as much as 170,000 Starlink plates, according to an estimate.
The European Union is also working to create its own satellite internet system called Iris². But it will not become available until the early 2030s.
